Marilyn Faye Flowers, of Knoxville, born November 13, 1954; was called home, October 11, 2015. Graduate of Rule High School, class of 1972.

Preceded in death by parents, Elvena and James Kennedy; sister, Jackie Kennedy Cowan. Survivors: devoted husband, Andrew Flowers; daughter, Markisa Kennedy Chaney; sons, Larry Kennedy Chaney, Jr., Andrew, Leon and Marcus Flowers; brothers, James and Michael Kennedy; three grandchildren; many devoted friends to include Wanda Hardin and Maurice Wright. Special thanks to Jennifer Singleton, with SMS Hospice Care for all of her support.

Family will receive friends, 6:00-7:00 p.m., Wednesday at Jarnigan's Chapel; funeral service, 7:00 p.m. Interment, 11:30 a.m., Thursday, Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery (John Sevier).
