Charles Scruggs - Class of 1948

Charles R. Scruggs, age 86 of Knoxville passed away Friday November 13, 2015 at his home. He loved his Lord and Savior and loved preaching the gospel and wanted to bring everyone to know Jesus. He was always a friend to those that were in need. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps at Paris Island as a rifle instructor.
Preceded in death by his father Charles Edwin; mother Myrtle, his first wife Norma; brothers Ronnie and Paul; sisters Leona Cordell and Betty Greene. Survived by wife Betty; sons Mike and Mitch Scruggs; step son Rodney and wife Lynn Miller; grandchildren Courtney, Nicole, Morgan, Beth, Rachel, Luke, Nick, Carter, Sarah and J.P.; brother Larry and sister Leatrice Crippen. In lieu of flowers please donate to your favorite children's charity.
