Oscar R. Woods, 80, passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at UT Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. Oscar was loved by everyone and was retired from KUB. He was an avid University of Tennessee fan.

He was preceded in death by son, Ronald A. Woods; and parents, E.C. and Mary Woods, and Alice Faye Woods. Oscar is survived by loving wife, Darlene S. Woods; children, Jack E. (Lisa) Woods, Donald E. Woods, Chandra L. (Doug) Edlin, Paul D. (Candace) Woods, Beth (Vernon) Worley, Jeana M. (Brian) Flack; grandchildren, Amy, John, Brandy, Ashley, Katie, Melissa, Jessie, Shannon, Annsley, Meriel, Katy; twin brother, Arthur (Yvonne) Woods; brother, Parvin (Nancy) Woods; sisters, Glenda Shephard, Jewell (Clyde) Sheppard, Mary White, Thelma Clark; numerous great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at Lonsdale UMC on Saturday, July 2, 2016 at 2:00 p.m., with Rev. Walter Cross and Rev. Stanley Green officiating.
