Andra King Walker, of Knoxville, Tennessee, 70 years of age was born on November 19, 1946. She went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, February 1, 2017, around 11:00 p.m., in Knoxville. A devoted child of God, Andra had an exceptionally strong faith in her Lord, Jesus Christ. She spent her life dedicated to her family. She was a loving wife to her husband, Ray D. (Doug) Walker for 25 years. She also loved her children, grandchildren, and extended family unconditionally – of whom she was so proud. Not to be left out, she had a deep love and affection for her "Furry Baby" named Casey. Andra was a member of Redemption Church in Knoxville. She was committed to the church for many years. She served others by baking her delicious cookies for the visitors of the church. Andra graduated from Rule High School (Knoxville) in 1964, and attended The University of Tennessee. She worked for many years in advertising and marketing, utilizing an exceptionally talented administrative gift. Extremely creative, Andra was widely known for her work in arts and crafts. Whatever her position, she was loved and respected by her co-workers.

She is survived by her husband, Ray D. (Doug) Walker; son, Michael Walker (Ashley); her grandsons, Logan, Harrison, and Andrew; daughter, Mary Ann Parker (Steedley); and granddaughter, Isabelle; her father, Paul King; her brother, Ed King (Nora); and her niece, Laren Vittitoe (Adam). She was preceded in death by her mother, Helen King; her nephew, Marcus King; as well as her beloved grandparents, Joe and Pearl Norton.

The family will receive friends 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., Saturday at Rose Mortuary Mann Heritage Chapel with a celebration of Andra's life immediately following. Reverend Tom Everett and Reverend John Greene, officiating. Interment will follow at Edgewood Cemetery, 229 South Gallaher View Road, directly across from Bearden High School in West Knoxville.
