Patsy Ann Hagaman, age 68, of Louisville, fulfilled her journey on earth on March 28, 2017 and ascended to her eternal home in God's arms. She was an inspiration to her family and friends as she bravely fought cancer for the past two years. Patsy was born on January 23, 1949 and grew up in the Beaumont community of Knoxville, Tennessee. She graduated from Rule High school in 1967 where she was a vibrant cheerleader, stunning calendar girl, and was also voted most athletic of her senior class. The story of her life had many chapters. In her younger years, she enjoyed city-league softball, playing alongside her sisters where she was a shut down presence at 2nd base with an arm like a rocket. In 1981, Patsy became one of Pilot/Flying J's earliest employees and retired in 2016. She was extremely proud of her 36 years with the company where she made a lasting impression and life-long friends. Later in life, she discovered a passion for music and a talent for singing. Her voice brightened many lives and it will be a spark of vibrance to the choir in heaven. Family was a constant throughout every chapter of Patsy's life. She was a loving sister, a devoted daughter, and a caring wife. Her children and grandchildren were at the very center of her world. Patsy knew the importance of family and friends and took great pride in strengthening those bonds by planning special family events and social gatherings. Her parties were always a hit. Saturdays during the fall were sacred times in her world. You were sure to hear the excitement in her voice as she cheered on her favorite team, the Tennessee Vols. Patsy was deeply spiritual with an unwavering faith in God that guided her journey through life. Her kind heart and beautiful soul will be greatly missed by all.

Patsy is survived by her husband, Doug Hagaman; loving children, Deana Hagaman, Clint Hagaman and his wife Shena'; beloved grandchildren, Cannon Hilde and Nick Hagaman; her mother, Mary Jo Coram; siblings, Toddy Baker, Beverly Willard (Lee), Tammy Kimball (Mark) and Sharon Kitts.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 9 at Smith Funeral Home on Tuckaleechee Pike in Maryville, TN from 2:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. with a service immediately following. Should friends desire, donations can be made in Patsy's honor to the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund Alliance (OCRFA) at ocrfa.org/donate or to the Knoxville Boys and Girls Club at greatfuturesknox.org.
