William (Bill) Gorman, age 81, of Knoxville, passed away Sunday, July 23, 2017. He was a member and deacon of North Knoxville Baptist Church and a long standing choir member. Bill was a veteran of the US Air Force and retired from ORNL X-10. Preceded in death by parents, Roy and Myrtle Gorman. Survived by wife of 61 years, Delores Gorman; children, Jane Kelly, Jeana Niceley and husband Danny; grandsons, Adam (Jessica) Kelly, Reece (Natalie) Kelly. Interment will be 2 pm Wednesday at Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, 2200 E. Gov. John Sevier Hwy. The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 pm Thursday at North Knoxville Baptist Church.
