Richard was born September 12, 1962 in Knoxville, Tennessee, son of the late James Edward Hardin, Sr. and Helen Lee Ellis Hardin.
Survivors include his wife, Jacqueline; son, Richard Anthony Hardin; daughters, Ricque Annette Hardin and Candace Jacqueline Proksch and her husband Logan; brother, James Edward Hardin, Jr.; and sisters, Judy Gail Hardin Ruckart, Betty Jean Hardin Werner, Debbie Sue Hardin, and Michelle Renee Hardin Boldin.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1:30 pm, Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at Bethesda Full Gospel Tabernacle with a funeral service to follow at 1:30 pm in the church. Pastor Rick Harris will officiate. Burial will follow at Evergreen "A Quiet Place".
