Charles "Pert" Hazelwood, age 75 of Knoxville, passed away October 11, 2017 at his home. He was the former owner of the Cottage Restaurant in Lake City, TN. Preceded in death by his parents Thurman and Mary Hazelwood and childhood friend, Ronnie Smith. Survived by loving wife of 39 years, Shirley Hazelwood; son, Jeff Hazelwood and wife Sandy; grandchildren, Josh and Hannah Hazelwood; brothers, Paul and wife Judy Hazelwood, David and wife Stephanie Hazelwood; brothers-in-law, Chris and Virginia Tackett, Gary and Sharon Tackett; several nieces and nephews; beloved childhood friends, Mackie Harper, Oscar Derreberry and Bobby Roberts.
