Arville Patrick - Class of 1953

Arville H. Patrick age 83, of Knoxville, passed away Tuesday, October 17, 2017, at his home. A good and faithful servant who touched many lives, and never met a stranger. He was deeply committed to and loved by his family, friends and his church. Arville was a member of Wallace Memorial Baptist. He was a former member of West Lonsdale Baptist for 50 years where he served as a deacon and teacher. He was a proud graduate of Rule High, class of 53. He served in the U.S. Army from 1955 to 1957. He was a member of IBEW for 46 years, and retired from ORNL X-10. Preceded in death by devoted wife of 57 years, Imogene Lowe Patrick; parents Roy and Orene Patrick; sisters Dot Hurst, Ramona Harris, Shorty Naillon, Sondra Lawhern; brother Joseph R. Patrick. Survived by his son and daughter-in-law Scott and Suzanne Patrick; daughter and son-in-law Gina and Tony Ussery; his seven grandchildren Alyssa and Savannah Ussery, and Shane, Carson, Eli, Colette,and Cecilia Patrick; his sisters Juanita Allen, Millie Mohon, Janie Bennett, Diane Loveday; many loving and caring nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law Mildred Selvidge, Barbara Lowe. The family will receive friends 5:30 to 7:30pm at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home, 2300 Adair Drive, Knoxville, TN. On Saturday, the family will receive friends 1:30 to 2:30 with the funeral service at 2:30. Rev. Kent Williams will officiate. The interment will follow at Lynnhurst Cemetery.
