Condon Radford - Class of 1966

Radford, Condon Earl Jr., age 69, of Knoxville, passed away Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at Parkwest Medical Center. He was retired from St. Mary’s Medical Center after 49 ½ years of service as Director of Plant Facilities. He was director of facilities for Knoxville Catholic High School and St. John Neuman Catholic Church. He was a graduate of Rule High School in 1966. His passion was drag cars and street rods, especially Tri 5 Chevy’s. He loved his family and his extended work family.

He is preceded in death by parents Condon E., Sr. & Nellie Ruth Radford; sisters Patricia Lay, Ann Varner and Johnnie Bentley; nephews Joshua Hayes and Steven White.

He is survived by the love of his life for 50 years, his wife Pat (Hayes) Radford; brother Eddie (Judy) Radford; sister Connie Radford; brother Alvin (Vicki) Ault; brother Mike Ault; brother Cleatus Lay; sister Jeannie Lay; brother-in-law David (Kathy) Hayes; sister-in-law Janie (Steve) Rose; mother-in-law Evelyn “Nana” Hayes; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 4, 2018, from 4:00p-8:00p at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel. Funeral service to follow with Pastor Jack Dean officiating. Family and friends will meet at Piney Grove Baptist Church Cemetery on Sunday, August 5, 2018, at 1:45pm for a 2:00pm interment. Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Mr. Radford’s nephews and great nephews.
