Pittman, Martha Sue (Everett)- age 70, passed peacefully to heaven on Thurs, Sept 20, 2018. Reunited with her husband George "Dickie" Pittman, parents Wesley and Lena Everett and grandson, Jack Emert. Survived by daughter Kami and "son" Sean Emert, granddaughters Lena and Anlee, brother Tom Everett. To cherish her memories she leaves special friends Joan Conley, Darlene Berry, "daughter" Karen Fortune, and many special family and friends. A Rule High School graduate and alumni of Bryan College, she faithfully attended Seymour Community Church where she taught Sunday School for more than 20 years. A 30 year teaching career at Maynard Elementary touched many lives. A founding resident of Oakwood Senior Living, Sue was loved for her heart and humor. Though her mind faltered, her faith never failed as she often quoted her life verse 2 Cor. 4-8 "For we are hard pressed on every side but not crushed". Momma found her victory and healing in Jesus. We are so blessed to love and be loved by her. A private burial at New Gray at 2p.m. on Tuesday followed by a memorial service at Danny Mayfield Park, 700 College St., at 4:00 will be held, Pastor Kevin Gibson officiating. Please come and celebrate Sue with us. Online condolences may be left at www.mynattfh.com
