Graduated from Rule High School in 1947. Veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in Germany in 1951-52. Retired from Roadway Express. He was a life-long Teamster and a
member of the Lonsdale United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by parents Leon and Mary (Craig) Mays, son David Mays, son-in-law Mark Dunlap, brothers Lowery and Harold Mays, and sister-in-law Helen (Loveday) Mays. Survived by children Steve (Sharon), Gary (Susan), Paula Dunlap, Sandy Woodford (Tim), sister-in-law Paula (Parker) Mays, daughter-in-law Jodi Mays, and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. The family would like to give a special thank you to caregivers Pam and Margie for their extraordinary care.
