Robert A. Taylor JR (ROOSTER) Age 62, peacefully departed life on Monday June 29th, 2020 at his residence. After courageous battle with many health problems, he is now in the arms of JESUS. He worked at varies jobs until his health failed. He was the son of the late Earnestine McNair Brown and Robert A. Taylor Sr. He was raised by his late paternal grandmother (Clara S. Taylor). He attended Knoxville Schools Systems and Technical Vacation School in Washington, DC. Robert loved his family, especially his children and grandchildren, there was a special place in his heart for them. He loved music, grilling out, and entertaining. Proceeded in death by his parents Earnestine McNair Brown and Robert A. Taylor, Sr. son Michael Cash, brothers James Hollins, Ronald and Walter Brown. He survived by sisters Caroline Brown, Patricia and Norma Brown, brother John A. Hollins (Rochester, New York); Children Chris, Cameron, DeMarcus (Yarlesha) Cash Tysngenlo (Antonio) Smith, Katherine King, Mekayia Greene, 12 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren a host of nephews, nieces, cousin and friends. Devoted Aunts Minnie L. Tyalor and Opal M. Taylor. A devoted nephew James Brown and a special friend Michael Logan. Special thanks to the Staff at Fresenlus Kidney Care Sanders 1740 Western Ave. all the physicians and nurses who took care of Robert, Vanderbilt Hospital (Nashville Tenn).
Mr. Taylor will lie in repose on Monday July 6, from 12-5 pm. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 7 from 11-12 with the celebration of life to follow at 12, with Rev. Michael McNair officiating at the Unity Mortuary Chapel. Social distancing will be in place, and the final resting place will immediately follow at New Grey. Cemetery.
