Gary Minor - Class of 1961

Gary Minor, 74, went to be with the Lord 12/2/15. He was a member of Fresh Start Church. He graduated from Rule High School class of 1961 where he played football, and retired from Knox County schools. Former youth football coach and officiated many SEC games.

He was preceded in death by oldest son, Michael; parents, Fred and Ruby Minor; grandparents, Brownlow and Margaret Windstead. Survivors, devoted and loving wife, Kathy Minor; son, Rodney; daughter, Jenifer (Dee); brothers, Jay Terry (Linda), Steve (Lee Ann); sister, Vickie; grandsons, Rodney Jr., Donavan (Ebony), Jamel and Trey; loving granddaughters, Shantel and Britany; the light in his eyes and heart, Alia, Adalyn, Kai and Dorian; several nieces and nephews.

Celebration of life will be held Saturday, December 12 2:00 p.m. at Fresh Start Church 2007 Central Street, Pastor Mike McKinney officiating.
