Sonny Lee - Class of 1960

Knoxville - Cecil W. "Sonny" Lee, age 79, of Knoxville, Tennessee went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 24, 2022. He was a graduate of Rule High School and retired from the City of Knoxville Fire Department after 30 years of dedicated service. Sonny loved to fish and shared his "Fishing Tips with Sonny" on WBIR for 20 years.

He is preceded in death by his parents Frank and CeeCee Lee; and sister, Shirley.

Sonny is survived by his sons, Joe (Missy) Lee and Jeff (Susan) Lee; and grandsons, Jake, Josh and Jonah.

The family will honor his wishes with a private graveside service at Berry Highland Memorial.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to West View Elementary School, 1714 Mingle Avenue, Knoxville, TN 37921. Please note in the check memo "In memory of Sonny Lee". In honor of Sonny, don't miss an opportunity to take a kid fishing.
