Brenda James Carmichael

Rule grads and friends, Brenda had a major heart attack on Sunday, Nov. 30, 2008, while on a business trip to San Diego, Ca. She had surgery there on Friday, Dec. 5th. They did 5 bypasses and also found a small hole in her heart, which they were able to repair. The doctors expect her to remain in the hospital 4-7 days and then must remain in San Diego for approximately 2 weeks while she recovers.

Her son, Eddie, and his friend, Debbie Byrd, were with her on the trip, and are remaining there with her. Wayne flew out on Thursday, Dec. 4 and is also with Brenda as she recovers.
