Plena (Babe) Boatman, 75, of Knoxville, TN, went to her Heavenly Home Thursday, January 5, 2017. She was a longtime member of Middlebrook Pike United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Samuel Joseph Boatman; parents, Walter and Lily Sharp; son by love, Mike Lambert; aunts and uncles. Plena is survived by children; Joy (David) Hux, Wes Boatman; grandchildren, Aaron (Shanna) Lambert, Alex (Ashley Evans) Lambert, Adison Lambert, Shane Hux; siblings, Lynell (Bill) Goosie, AnnaLee (Jack) Rhodes; several nieces, nephews and a host of family friends.

Family will receive friends Sunday, January 8th, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., at Middlebrook Pike United Methodist Church, with celebration of life immediately following at 4:00 p.m. Rev. Bruce Galyon will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to Middlebrook Pike United Methodist Church 7234 Middlebrook Pike Knoxville, TN 37909.
